Scheduling proposal publication
Automatically publish proposals at a specific date and time
Schedule your proposals to publish automatically at a specific date and time. Perfect for coordinating product drops, seasonal releases, or launching new collections exactly when you want them to go live.
Before you start
This guide assumes you already know how to create and work with proposals. If you're new to proposals, check out Generating with AI and Making bulk changes first.
Why schedule proposals
Scheduling lets you prepare your product updates ahead of time and publish them automatically at the perfect moment. No need to be online clicking buttons when your product drop goes live - set it up in advance and let Emfas handle the rest.
Common use cases:
- Product drops - Schedule new products to go live at a specific time
- Seasonal collections - Launch holiday or seasonal products right on schedule
- Time-sensitive updates - Coordinate price changes or promotional content to update at a specific time
Scheduling a proposal
Once you've created and reviewed a proposal, you can schedule it for automatic publication.
To schedule a proposal:
- Open the proposal you want to schedule
- Click the clock icon in the left sidebar
- Choose the date and time when you want the proposal to publish
- Confirm your schedule
The clock icon turns green to show that this proposal has a scheduled publication time.
Make sure everything is ready
Before scheduling, review all the generated content in your proposal. Once the scheduled time arrives, everything in the proposal will publish automatically. You can always cancel the schedule or make changes before the publication time.
Finding scheduled proposals
Proposals that are scheduled for publication appear at the top of your proposals list, making them easy to find and manage. This helps you keep track of upcoming releases and make any last-minute adjustments if needed.
Editing scheduled proposals
You can make changes to a proposal even after scheduling it. Simply open the proposal and edit any content as usual. Your schedule remains active, and the updated content will publish at the scheduled time.
To cancel or change the scheduled time, click the clock icon again and adjust your settings.
What happens at publication time
When the scheduled time arrives, Emfas automatically publishes all content in the proposal. The changes sync to your connected systems like Shopify or Centra, just as if you had clicked publish manually.
Scheduling happens automatically
You don't need to keep Emfas open or be logged in. The scheduled publication happens automatically at the time you set, and you'll be able to see the published changes whenever you log back in.
Important considerations
Schedule with buffer time
Consider scheduling your publication a few minutes or an hour before your actual launch time. This gives the changes time to sync to your store and ensures everything is live when you need it.
Double-check time zones
The listed time will be in the time zone local to the user. Make sure you're scheduling in the correct time zone for your launch. If you're coordinating a global release, verify the time zone matches where you want the launch to happen.
What's next
Scheduling works great with bulk proposals. Check out Making bulk changes to learn how to update multiple products at once, then schedule the entire batch to publish when you're ready.
