Editing a single product
Make manual changes to product data
Making changes to your products is safe and straightforward. All edits are reversible, so you can experiment with confidence.
The product detail view
When you click a product from the catalog, you open its detail view. Here you'll see all the product's attributes - the individual pieces of data like Description, Category, Color, and more.
Each attribute shows:
- The attribute name
- The current value
- The source, shown as a badge (like Shopify or emfas)
- A translation icon - either a flag (translatable) or globe (non-translatable)
Editing an attribute
To edit an attribute, simply click on it. The field becomes editable, and you can type your changes.
For example, to update the "Description":
- Click on the Description attribute
- Type or paste your new content
- Click Publish to save your changes
If the attribute syncs to an external source like Shopify, the update appears in your store immediately after publishing.
Reverting changes
If you need to undo a change, you can revert an attribute to a previous state. All changes are tracked, so you can always go back.
To revert:
- Click the menu icon (•••) next to the attribute
- Select "View changelog"
- Choose a previous version to restore
Changes are safe
Don't worry about making mistakes. All changes are tracked and can be reverted to previous states. Feel free to experiment and learn how things work.
