Views
Save and share custom catalog filters
Views are saved filter configurations for your catalog. Instead of recreating the same filters every time, save them as a View and access them with one click.
For example, create a "Products missing descriptions" View to quickly find products that need content, or a "New arrivals" View to see recently added products.
New to filtering?
Views are built on catalog filters. If you're not familiar with how filtering works in Emfas, check out Browse your catalog first.
Why use Views
Quick access to common filters - Save time by storing frequently used filter combinations. No need to recreate complex filters every time you need them.
Share with your team - Make a View public so everyone can access the same filtered catalog. Perfect for workflows where multiple people need to work on specific product sets.
Organize your work - Create Views for different tasks like "SEO optimization needed", "Ready for review", or "Seasonal products".
Finding Views
Views appear at the top of any catalog page.
Click on any View to switch to that filtered view of the catalog.
You can also access all Views from the side menu by clicking Views. This shows Views across all catalog types.
Creating Views
Create a View by setting up filters in the catalog, then saving that filter configuration:
- Open any catalog (Products, Variants, SKUs, or Assets)
- Apply the filters you want to save
- Click Save as View
- Give your View a name
- Choose visibility (public by default, or personal)
- Press Enter to create the View
The View is now available at the top of the catalog.
Personal vs Public
By default, Views are public - everyone in your workspace can see and use them. Public Views appear at the top of the catalog for all team members.
You can make a View personal if you only want it visible to yourself.
Managing Views
Right-click any View to edit or delete it.
Editing - Update the View's filters or change its name. Your changes apply immediately.
Deleting - Remove a View you no longer need. This doesn't affect the products or data, only the saved filter configuration.
The default system View (like "All products" or "All variants") always shows everything in the catalog and cannot be edited or deleted.
